Basic Shading Control Options

Electric blinds can offer many benefits to your home or office – at the touch of a button you can open or close your blinds with ease and at the same time control your living environment.

Which controls you decide to use can affect the way you use your blinds considerably. Do you require programmable controls to preset your blinds to open or close on a timer when you’re not even in the house? Or perhaps you are happy with a simple wireless wall switch that is easy to use and install and will never get mislaid?

Our customers often ask us what the different options are for controlling their window shading, so here is a quick overview of all of our basic window shading controls, so you can make an informed decision about which option is best for your home and lifestyle.

The Basics

Any Window Blind or Curtain System can be motorised, this can be either battery or mains powered. Either option can be controlled via a handset or wall switch remote, either with or without a timer.

App Controlled Blinds

Any of our Window Shading Systems can be operated remotely via a simple to use app which includes a timer, a scheduler (for a list of events) or simply to set your blinds to open and close while you are away.
